Season 11 begins
August 24th, 2026!
The River-Port Nutcracker brings together the talents of dancers from Vancouver Island and beyond, creating a cherished holiday tradition for both performers and audiences. This beloved production captures the magic of the season, showcasing the hard work, artistry, and passion of our dancers as they bring this classic ballet to life.
Set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, the performance transports audiences into a world of dancing snowflakes, waltzing flowers, and the enchanting Land of Sweets, the River-Port Nutcracker continues to be a highlight of the holiday season.
Season 11 marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
As we move into our second decade, the River-Port Nutcracker is evolving with a renewed focus on elevated technique, artistry, and performance quality. While honoring the traditions that have made this production so special, we are refining and reimagining elements of the show to continue inspiring both dancers and audiences.
The River-Port Nutcracker is more than just a performance — it is a celebration of community, collaboration, and the joy of dance. By bringing this production to multiple Vancouver Island communities, we continue to share the holiday spirit with families and audiences year after year.
