10th Annual Nutcracker
The River-Port Nutcracker brings together the talents of dancers from Vancouver Island and beyond, creating a cherished holiday tradition for both performers and audiences.
This beloved production captures the true magic of the season, showcasing the hard work, artistry, and passion of our students as they bring this classic ballet to life.
Set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, the performance transports audiences into a world of dancing snowflakes, waltzing flowers, and the delightful Land of Sweets. With enchanting choreography, stunning costumes, and heartfelt performances, the River-Port Nutcracker has become a highlight of the holiday season.
This year marks a special milestone — our 10th Anniversary Season!
We are planning some exciting surprises and special ways to celebrate our dancers who have been part of all 10 magical seasons.
The River-Port Nutcracker is more than just a performance — it is a celebration of community, unity, and the joy of dance.
By performing in both Campbell River and Port Alberni, we share the holiday spirit with friends, families, and neighbors, making it an event that grows more beloved every year.
From young dancers making their stage debut to seasoned performers captivating audiences with their grace, each performance is a testament to the dedication, talent, and love for dance that defines our community.
✨ Registration for Season 10:
Registration is now open for Ballet dancers ages 7 and up who are registered in two weekly ballet classes for the 2025/2026 season.
Dancers must commit to attending Nutcracker Bootcamp August 18–21 and August 25–26, held in Campbell River and Port Alberni.
Monthly Sunday rehearsals will take place in Campbell River, Port Alberni, and Nanaimo. A full schedule will be released in July.
To register, follow the link below, fill in your information, browse the classes, and select Nutcracker Company A - Season 10 for ages 12+ (Intermediate, Senior, and Advanced levels), or Nutcracker Company B - Season 10 for ages 7–11 (Novice and Junior levels).
Registraiton fees are due by July 31st, 2025.
